AigoPilot Agent for Mac
AigoPilot Agent makes a Mac one of the computers of your AigoPilot studio. The studio runs on another computer and works on the Mac through the agent, so you need both. The agent needs macOS 11 or later. Coding sessions on the Mac run through Claude Code, Codex or Grok, with your own accounts.
Install
- Download the disk image, open
AigoPilot-Agent.dmgand moveAigoPilot Agentinto your Applications folder. - Open it. The app is signed by Doment Digital FZE LLC and notarized by Apple, so macOS opens it after its usual question about an app from the internet.
- When macOS asks whether the app may find devices on your local network, allow it. That is how your studio finds the Mac.
- If Claude Code or Codex is not on the Mac yet, your studio says so once the Mac is paired and offers to install it with the provider's own installer. You sign in to each tool yourself on the Mac.
Pair it with your studio
- In the agent's window, press "Show six digits".
- In AigoPilot on your other computer, open Settings, Computers, Add a computer. Pick the Mac from the list and type the six digits.
- If the studio is on another network and the Mac is not in the list, type the code the agent shows under the digits in place of the address, together with the six digits.
The digits work for one pairing and for a short time. After three wrong tries they change. To stop a studio from reaching the Mac, press "Forget" beside that studio in the agent's window. It can be paired again later with new digits.
Update
The agent looks for a newer build on aigopilot.com about once a day and installs it by itself when no session is working, then starts again. To look at once, press "Check for updates" in its window. The agent's window shows which build is running.
Start with the Mac
"Start when I sign in to this computer" in the agent's window decides whether the agent comes back after a restart. Without it, the Mac cannot be reached until you open the agent again.
Uninstall
- In the agent's window, switch off "Start when I sign in to this computer", then choose "Quit the agent".
- Move
AigoPilot Agentfrom Applications to the Trash. - To remove its data too, delete the folder
~/Library/Application Support/com.aigopilot.studioand, if it is still there, the file~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.aigopilot.agent.plist. - To remove its key, open Keychain Access, search for
AigoPilotand delete the entries.
Uninstalling does not touch your projects, and it does not remove Claude Code, Codex or Grok or the files they keep.
If something does not work
- The studio does not list the Mac. Check that both are on the same network and that the agent is open. On macOS 15 or later, look in System Settings under Privacy and Security, Local Network, and make sure AigoPilot Agent is switched on. Or use the code under the six digits.
- The digits are refused. Press "Show six digits" again and type the new ones.
- A session does not start. Open Claude Code, Codex or Grok in the Mac's Terminal once and check that you are signed in there.
