Bing's numbers as charts
What Bing counted for your site, drawn from the numbers the studio already kept.
The free Bing Webmaster Tools plugin keeps the numbers Bing gives for your site every day. Since the build of 30 October 2026 it also draws them: a block Numbers from Bing stands above the daily review, with the last four weeks, this week against the one before, the searches and pages that moved, and a comparison of your projects.
Drawing the charts asks nothing of Bing, of an AI or of a session. It reads only what the studio already kept, so it costs nothing. The same charts for Google Search Console, and on the phone, are not built.
Where to find them
- Click Marketplace and open Bing Webmaster Tools.
- Pick the project. Its site must be connected and verified, as Free site tools describes.
- Read Numbers from Bing at the top, then the review below it, which says what the numbers mean and what to do.
Reading the daily line
The line shows clicks and impressions for each of the last 28 days. Impressions are how often Bing showed the site in its results, not people who visited. A day Bing gave no row for is a pale band where the line breaks. It is never drawn as zero, because nothing was measured. Use the arrow keys, or touch a day, to read its numbers.
When Bing has not given a single day yet, the block says so plainly: that does not mean zero visitors.
This week against the last
The last seven calendar days stand beside the seven before, each with how many of its days Bing measured. A change is shown as a percent only when both weeks hold the same number of measured days and the week before was above zero. Otherwise the block says why it does not compare, for example that Bing gave four days of one week and seven of the other.
Searches and pages that moved
Tables list the searches and pages of the last date Bing reported beside the date before, each marked as rose, fell or new. A position is where that search or page was shown on average, not a rank of the whole site, and a row moves on its position only when Bing gave both positions. The table shows the 100 most shown and the ones that moved, and says how many it lists of how many; the rest are in the export.
Compare projects
Click Compare projects and choose up to six projects connected to Bing. They are laid side by side over the same days, ending on the last day every chosen project has numbers for, and a project with no day yet is said to have none. If a read fails, the last good numbers stay with a line that says so. The numbers say what Bing counted; they do not say what caused a change. See also SearchPlan for what people search for.
Questions
Do the Bing charts cost anything?
No. They are part of the free Bing Webmaster Tools plugin and read only what the studio kept, so nothing is asked of Bing or of an AI.
Why is a day missing from the line?
Bing gave no row for that day. The studio shows it as a gap, never as zero, because nothing was measured.
