Free site tools: Bing, Search Console and Analytics

Verify the site, hand over the sitemap, send new pages for indexing and get a daily review.

Three free plugins connect your project's website to the services that tell you how search engines and visitors treat it: Bing Webmaster Tools, Google Search Console and Google Analytics. Each verifies the site, hands over the sitemap, sends new pages for indexing where the service allows it, and writes a daily review of what changed and what to do. Where something has to change on the site itself, one click opens a session in the same project to do it.

Partly built. Bing Webmaster Tools is in the studio. It has read a real Bing account and written a real review, but adding a site, verifying it, giving a sitemap and sending an address were tested only against a stand-in of Bing's service. The Google Search Console and Google Analytics connections are written and are not in the studio yet, and there is no date.

What all three share

They are made by AigoPilot Labs and cost nothing: no credits, no subscription and no aigopilot.com account. You use each service with your own account, under its own terms. They are independent of Microsoft and Google. The daily review is written by your own Claude Code, Codex or Grok subscription, so it counts against that subscription. The studio fetches the numbers every day and keeps them, because Bing itself shows little history.

Connect Bing

  1. Click Marketplace in the top bar and open Bing Webmaster Tools.
  2. Choose the project, turn it on, and give the project's site. The studio keeps it as the site of the project and no other plugin asks again.
  3. Under Your Bing account, click Open Bing Webmaster Tools and sign up. It is free, and your Google account works.
  4. Add your first site there and verify it. If the site is already in Google Search Console, choose Import on Bing's page and no file is needed. Otherwise paste the code Bing shows into the studio, and it prepares the file.
  5. On Bing's page open the gear, then API access, then API key, then Generate. Paste the key and click Connect.

Bing gives a key only to an account that already has one verified site, which is why the first site is done on Bing's own page. One key serves every project and is kept in the Windows Credential Manager, never in a file.

Then the studio goes on by itself: Add it to Bing, verify with a file at the root of the site, a tag in the first page or a DNS record (any one is enough), and Verify now. It looks for a sitemap. If there is none, Have a session build it. Give it to Bing finishes with Connected. Bing is asked for this project from now on.

New pages and the daily review

The studio reads the sitemap every six hours. When a new address appears, it asks Send to Bing for indexing? and sends only on your yes. It uses IndexNow, which needs one small key file on the site, or Bing's own key, which takes a limited number of addresses a day. A tick, Send new pages without asking, is off until you turn it on.

The review runs once a day by default, up to 24 times if you choose, or on Review now. Each finding is marked Matters now, Worth doing or Good to know, with what was seen, why and what to do, and Open a session to do it hands it to a session. One limit: Bing's service has no list of pages that are not indexed, so the studio asks about a few sitemap addresses at each review. That is less exact than Search Console's report.

Search Console and Analytics, when they arrive

Both will use one Google connection for the whole studio: you press Allow once in your own browser, and nothing is set up again for a new project. Search Console will find your site in your account or verify it with a file that a session places, hand over the sitemap, and review which pages Google has not indexed, in Google's own words. Google has no call that asks for a page to be indexed at once, so the studio will give it the sitemap again on your yes.

Analytics will find or create the property, have a session place Google's tag with your consent banner in mind, and join visits to the review page by page. Until they are in the studio, the Marketplace page says so. See The Marketplace and plugins, and SearchPlan for measuring what people search for.

Small tips

Import the site from Search Console on Bing's page

If the site is verified in Google Search Console already, choose Import on Bing's page and sign in with the same Google account. Bing takes the site and its sitemap over with no file.

Give the sitemap's address when the studio cannot find it

If no sitemap is found, the studio lists the addresses it looked at, and a field lets you type its address instead of building one.

Questions

Are the site tools really free?

Yes. There are no credits and no subscription, and you need no aigopilot.com account. The daily review runs on your own AI subscription.

Are Search Console and Analytics available?

Not yet. They are written and not in the studio, and there is no date.

Does the Bing plugin send my pages without asking?

No. New pages go to Bing only on your yes, unless you tick Send new pages without asking, which is off by default.
