The iPhone app: what it does
See your sessions from anywhere and answer the one that is waiting, while the work stays on your computer.
The iPhone app shows the projects and sessions of your AigoPilot studio on your phone, and lets you answer them. A session that needs a permission stops and waits. With the app you tap Allow wherever you are, and the session goes on.
The work still happens on your computer. The phone is a window onto it and a way to steer it. It suits the person who starts a long job, leaves the desk, and does not want to come back to a session that has waited an hour for a yes.
Partly built. The app works with a paired studio, but you cannot download it yet. It is not on the App Store; version 1.0 has been sent to Apple for review.
What the five tabs show
The app has five tabs along the bottom.
- Projects lists the projects of every computer of your studio, each row saying what is going on in it. With only one project, the app opens straight on its sessions.
- Waiting is one list of every session that finished, asked a question or needs a permission, from all computers. The number on the app icon counts only the sessions that wait for an answer or a permission, not the finished ones.
- Email reads and answers the mail of your projects. Adding a mailbox stays in the studio.
- Usage shows how much of each account's limit is used, as a percent first. It needs a studio as new as the app; an older studio says so on this tab.
- Studio says whether the phone is connected, lists your computers and holds the settings of the app itself.
What you can do from the phone
Open a project, then a session, and the conversation is there. It opens at the end with the last 20 messages and loads older ones as you scroll up. While a session works you see the answer as it is written, and the steps of its tools with what each was given and what came back.
From there you can send a prompt, answer a permission or a question, stop the turn, look at the files the session changed, start a new session, or add a whole project on any computer of the studio. Prompts, permissions and changes from your phone goes through each of these.
What stays at the desk
The phone is the studio's companion, not the whole studio. It does not add a computer, carry a project to another computer, install Claude Code or Codex, change a permission mode, or edit accounts and keys. Do those in the studio.
What it costs while idle
Nothing runs while the app is closed, apart from notices that arrive through Apple (see iPhone notices, sounds and quiet). With the app in front of you it asks the studio for a short word every ten seconds, and a working session sends more as it writes.
What you need
A studio on a computer that is on, and a phone paired with it once by six digits. At home the phone talks to the computer directly over your network. Away from home it goes through a relay, and you change nothing. No AigoPilot account is needed for either. Start with Pairing your iPhone with the studio, then read Using the iPhone app away from home.
Small tips
Look around a sample studio before you pair
The first screen has Try a sample studio at the bottom. It opens a made-up studio with projects and sessions so you can see the app. Nothing runs in it.
Search every conversation from the projects list
The magnifier above the projects list searches the text and names of sessions. Each computer that is on searches its own sessions, and the phone puts the answers together. Nothing is kept on the phone.
Pull the list down to read it again
A pull on the projects list asks the studio for the list again. It helps right after you added a project and it is not shown yet.
Questions
Can I download the AigoPilot iPhone app?
Not yet. It is not on the App Store, and version 1.0 has been sent to Apple for review. Until then it cannot be downloaded by customers.
Does the work run on my phone?
No. Every session runs on its computer. The phone reads it, sends prompts and answers requests.
