A tool is missing or asks you to sign in
The studio installs on your yes and opens the tool's own sign-in. It never sees what you type there.
A session needs one of the three tools, Claude Code, Codex or Grok, installed on the computer where it runs, and signed in to an account. When one of those is missing, the studio says which, and offers to fix what it can. Signing in is always your own act: AigoPilot opens the tool's own sign-in and never reads what you type there.
The tool is missing
In the first-run setup, or in Settings, then Computers, each tool has a row. A missing tool says Not on this computer, with an Install button. Press it and the studio shows what it will do before it does anything: the name of each program, the maker's own installer, the address it comes from and the folder it goes into. The tools go into your own user folder and need no administrator.
Press Install in that box to go on, or No to leave it. If an install fails, the message names the link that broke:
- "The address of the installer did not answer": the computer cannot reach the maker's site. Check the internet connection, a proxy or a firewall, then try again.
- "The installer ended with an error": the maker's installer failed. The error it printed is the thing to search for.
- "The installer ended, and the program was not found": it ran, but the program is not where the studio looks. That computer may need a restart.
- "The program was installed and does not start": the row then says It is there and does not start.
The same install works on another computer you paired, from its own row. See install tools on another computer.
Nobody is signed in
When the tool is there but you are not signed in, its row says Nobody is signed in and shows a Sign in button. Press it. The tool's own sign-in window opens on that computer, and the row says "The sign-in window is open". Finish the sign-in in the window and the browser, and the row changes to Signed in. For a computer you are not sitting at, the sign-in opens on that computer's own screen.
A session stops, or will not start, for a sign-in
If the sign-in stops working while the studio is open, an alert says "The sign-in of the account stopped working", or "Nobody is signed in to the account". If you try to start a session with an account whose sign-in does not work, no session starts, and the studio shows what the tool itself said. The tool's own sign-in window opens. After you sign in, send the prompt again.
Which account is in use matters when you have several. A session continues with the account it started with and never another; the studio never switches accounts by itself. Add and choose accounts in several accounts, and see who is signed in and who pays.
A key in the environment pays instead of your subscription
If a variable such as ANTHROPIC_API_KEY is set in Windows, a tool may bill that key and not your subscription. The studio notices it, says so in an alert, and takes the key out of the environment of the sessions it starts for that tool, so that the subscription pays. To pay with the key on purpose, change it under Accounts.
The account's limit is full
A tool that is signed in but at its usage limit will not answer. The session shows the state for a limit and the studio can continue it by itself after the limit resets, if you chose that in the setup. Details are in when a limit is reached. Nothing about the limit is fixed by signing in again.
Questions
Does AigoPilot ask for my Claude or ChatGPT password?
No. It opens the tool's own sign-in window and never reads what you type in it.
